Embarking on a 26-mile hike for Cystic Fibrosis research will not be easy, but my determination is unwavering. As I prepare, I am reminded of how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to participate in such an event. The thought of those living with CF who cannot even partake in this activity fuels my resolve. Their strength and resilience will become a driving force, pushing me beyond my limits. Every step I take will be a step towards hope and progress in finding a cure for this disease.

Cystic Fibrosis research holds immense importance in the pursuit of improving the lives of those affected by this disease. Witnessing the impact it has had on individuals and families during Zoom meetings and on training hikes instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and compassion. The struggles they face daily, yet courageously endure, reinforced my dedication to supporting this cause.

The hike is a profound reminder that while we may encounter obstacles, the power of determination can bring about positive change. I now carry with me a stronger commitment to raise awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis research, driven by the hope of a brighter future for those who battle this condition every day.
