Proceeds from each sale will go directly to help fund community programs through Westborough Connects. Westborough Connects helps to create opportunities that support and celebrate the diversity, spirit, and character of Westborough through free programs and events that are community-based, strengths-based and dedicated to connecting people to resources and each other.

We are pleased to partner with Yummy Mummy Bakery, a vibrant bustling woman-owned business that specializes in homemade, from-scratch brownies. Owner Melissa Roiter, a single mom of triplets, grew up surrounded by talented women entrepreneurs: her mother, now a yummy gran-mummy, was a caterer and her aunt, a chocolatier. Melissa’s grandmother Irene was an amazing at-home baker, and the one behind the unique and decadent chocolate brownie recipe. Grandma Irene used to send her family-famous brownies to Melissa at college. She even has a letter that she wrote home to her grandmother asking her to “make those delicious brownies again - they are a great way to make friends!” Years later, Melissa knew that the delicious treats were destined to be shared and started her home based brownie business in 2007. Today, Melissa not only shares these same brownies with you but now has a retail bakery in Westborough, MA, a corporate gift giving business and a thriving mail order business. So go ahead and indulge – it’s worth it! You too will fall in love with her yummy treats.

More About Westborough Connects

Founded in 2017, Westborough Connects is a 501(c)3 nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to promoting community strength, connection and kindness in the town of Westborough, Massachusetts. Westborough Connects was founded, in part, due to the desire of the community to come together to celebrate its diversity and define it in a positive way. It was also organized to promote connection, inclusion and conversation in order to expand awareness and empathy across differences and have meaningful and difficult conversations that are required in a connected community.

Our role in the community is to amplify people, organizations and events doing good things, while also collaborating and partnering with others to identify opportunities to strengthen what already exists, and to help fill needs or gaps. Often in partnership with others, Westborough Connects creates opportunities to support and celebrate the diversity, spirit, and character of Westborough through free programs and events that are community-based, strengths-based and dedicated to connecting people to resources and each other.
